Once again, we are seeking nominations for the Al Makkay Sr. Award.
The Al Makkay Sr. Award is given in honor and memoriam for the life of service embodied in Al Makkay, Sr. to recognize outstanding contributions by a teacher or staff member in the Catholic Schools of Cape Cod.
The award will be presented at the FACE Summer Gala on August 13, 2026 at The Wianno Club, Osterville. The winner will receive a beautiful crystal commemorative award.
The inaugural Al Makkay, Sr. Award was given to Maureen Makkay of Centerville and the 2025 winner recipient was Alan Lynch of St. John Paul II School.
