There is a place in Catholic schools for all children
The Foundation to Advance Catholic Education (FACE) was established in 1991, and was formerly known the St. Mary’s Education Fund, exists to ensure that low income or financial hardships are not barriers to educational access for families who wish to choose where they send their children to school. The goal of FACE is to provide need-based scholarships to ensure that no child is denied the opportunity of attending a Catholic school in the Diocese of Fall River due to financial hardship.
The Foundation to Advance Catholic Education wants to meet the challenges of serving more culturally and economically diverse populations, while addressing the sustained increase in the demand for tuition financial assistance for families striving to send their children to our schools.

One principal recently shared:
“Year after year, I talk with parents and students who are extremely thankful for the generosity of FACE, and its many donors. I cannot overstate the importance that these scholarships provide not only to our students, families and staff, but to our schools as a whole. In the end, we are able to bring more people into our schools and churches and closer to our faith community.”
