It was to this end that in 1991, the Diocese of Fall River established the St.\u00a0Mary\u2019s Education Fund using the proceeds from the sale of the St.\u00a0Mary\u2019s building. The Fund, a separately incorporated entity, provides \u201cneed based\u201d scholarships enabling students to attend the Catholic Schools of the Diocese.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2015, the St.&nbsp;Mary\u2019s Education Fund changed its name to the Foundation to Advance Catholic Education (FACE).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Foundation to Advance Catholic Education wants to meet the challenges of serving more culturally and economically diverse populations, while addressing the sustained increase in the demand for financial assistance for families striving to send their children to our schools.<\/p>\n<\/div><figure class=\"wp-block-media-text__media\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"960\" height=\"948\" src=\"https:\/\/www.fallriverdiocese.org\/app\/uploads\/sites\/18\/2023\/08\/ES-6.15.18-min.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2527 size-full\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.fallriverdiocese.org\/app\/uploads\/sites\/18\/2023\/08\/ES-6.15.18-min.jpeg 960w, https:\/\/www.fallriverdiocese.org\/app\/uploads\/sites\/18\/2023\/08\/ES-6.15.18-min-300x296.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/www.fallriverdiocese.org\/app\/uploads\/sites\/18\/2023\/08\/ES-6.15.18-min-768x758.jpeg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 960px) 100vw, 960px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>From humble beginnings, we are emerging into a robust organization.
